"They were aggressive, guys who like to hit. And hey, we've got some very key injuries, and we still went out and took it to them. I'm excited about the future of this team."

"A lot of guys were having a tough time trying to find ways to create stuff offensively, and sometimes you tend to cheat a little bit and hope to get the team going, It ends up going the other way. Part of it is that's what happened. We were going through a tough stretch, and a lot of guys wanted to help out and be a hero, but it went the other way."

"He’s got one of the best shots in the league and his release is really good, He’s been on a roll for them, scoring in a lot of different ways. We have to make sure we’re aware when he’s on the ice and not turn anything over, because that’s what he thrives off."
Mar 27, 2012
"I’m not going to lie. There was a lot at stake, and I thought our preparation was really good for the game, We got off to a really good start and took their will away."
Mar 28, 2012
"It’s a lot different than if you would have talked to me a couple of months ago, but it didn’t change overnight, We had to build it, start getting confidence, start playing better hockey. I think we have. (Goaltender) Ryan (Miller) is playing tremendous for us. Our special teams are doing a better job. Everybody is getting on the scoreboard. It’s helping our overall game."

As much as I don't want Jhonas Enroth to play against Boston, I'm hoping to see him in net tonight. I believe Miller needs a rest. Either way, it's a big, important match tonight in Boston. You could say that from here on out. The Sabres have themselves back within two points of the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference and they will look to close that gap tonight in a match in Boston....
