THE Winnipeg Jets will have a new ECHL affiliate next season.
The club announced Monday that they and the Colorado Eagles have mutually agreed to end their ECHL affiliation, which had been in effect since the Jets relocated from Atlanta for the 2011-12 season.

If Claude Noel is nervous about going into next season with only one year left on his contract to be the head coach of the Winnipeg Jets, he's not letting on.
As the Jets held exit meetings and met with the media for one final time, Noel was asked about his job security after missing the playoffs for the second straight season.
